Chancey Andrews

Chancey "Lee" Andrews, age 78, of Woodbury, formerly of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Southview Acres Health Care Center in West St. Paul. Preceded in death by wife Yvonne; parents, Val Andrews and Gladys Jones; brothers and sisters, Robert (Dolores) Andrews, Harvey (Marge) Andrews, and Lurlie Jones; and grandson, Travis Winter. Survived by daughters, Deb (Wayne) Johnson, Roxy Smith (Rob), Kristie Winter (Chad), and Shelley (Rick) Jackson; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Lee was a career truck driver, having worked for Spector Freight, Erickson/Holiday Gasoline, and Amoco/BP Petroleum. Lee was recognized by everyone who knew him as "Just the nicest guy." Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th Street S., Cottage Grove, MN and one hour prior to service at church. Funeral service will be 11 a.m, Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 14107 Hudson Rd. S., Afton, MN 55001. Memorials preferred.
