Busch, Catherine (Kay)
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Age 83 of Hastings (formerly of Cottage Grove) passed away peacefully surrounded by her children. Preceded in death by husband Richard, parents Samuel and Marie Thompson, and great granddaughter Olivia Blair. Survived by her loving children Susan (Jim)Blair, Dan Busch, Mike (Judy) Busch, Tim Busch, Rick (Kathy) Busch, Kathy (Terry) Sveiven, Beth (Eric) Mathiason, John (Julie) Busch, sister Mary Meier and brother Dan Thompson, as well as 33 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren. Kay worked for 17 years at Brach's, and enjoyed her retirement years at their cabin in Minong, WI. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on. Mom, may you rest in eternal happiness with dad and loved ones. Monetary donations may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association. Visitation 4-8 PM, Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove with visitation continuing one hour prior to the mass at church. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM, Friday, February 28, 2014 at St Rita, 8694 80th St S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016. Interment at Fort Snelling.
