Carrie (Klein) Lindstrom
Carrie Lindstrom, age 52 of Cottage Grove, passed away April 15. Super mom, loving wife and a ray of sunshine to all who knew her, Carrie fought cancer with humor and grace, setting an example of how to live life to the fullest. We will miss her bubbly personality and boundless energy and are better people today after experiencing her generosity, love and compassion.
Preceded in death by mother Antoinette Klein and father-in-law Robert Lindstrom. Survived by husband Kris, daughter Jessi (husband Kyle Larson) and son Jake (fiancé Brittany Streich); father Henry (Doty) Klein; siblings and their significant others Tom (Helen) Klein, Cindy (Tony) Williams, Tim (Jeanette) Klein, Ted (Katherine) Klein, Christine (Matt) Lindeman, Carla (Tom) Waite and Connie Standiford; mother-in-law Joyce Lindstrom; brothers-in-law Karl (Lynn) Lindstrom and Jon (Tina) Lindstrom; beloved nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
Carrie was the most dedicated, loving wife and mother you could ever ask for. She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking fabulous food, hosting holidays and going up to the lake.
Every day before her kids left for school, she would say, "Remember to do something nice for someone today!" We will always remember these words and live by them every day in her honor.
Mass of Christian Burial 11am Thursday, April 21 The Catholic Church of St. Rita (8694 80th St. S. Cottage Grove) visitation 5-8 Wednesday at Kok Funeral Home (7676 80th St. S. Cottage Grove) and one hour prior to Mass at church. Private interment First Lutheran Cemetery Rush City, MN.
