Carolyn Renee Kubiak

Carolyn Renee “Busia’ Kubiak, age 69, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 29.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, John Waiter Kubiak and Anne Selma Levien Kubiak. 

She is survived by her loving daughter Stacy Anne Kubiak (Dusty Chase), her grandchildren Robert Charles “Bobby “ Winmill, Dominic John Winmill, Catherine Anne Winmill, and her beloved cat Louis.

Carolyn was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up on the southeast side of Chicago. She worked for the Chicago Police Department as a fingerprint technician before moving to Minnesota. She worked for the State of Minnesota for 27 years before retiring from the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

Her true love and passion was spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her quick laugh, her ability to make us all smile, and her fierce devotion to her family.
