Carol Riley, age 87, of Saint Paul Park died Friday evening February 18, 2011.
Carol was born February 4, 1924 in St. Paul the daughter of Christopher & Rose (Norton) Peters. She was raised in St. Paul Park and was thevaledictorian of Park High in 1940. Carol enjoyed sewing and gardening (especially her raspberries).
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald; and sister Marjorie Waldbillig.
Carol is the beloved mother of Patrick (Beverly), Maureen Vitali, Christine (Allen) Shaver; grandmother of Patrick, Michael, Sarah (Tony) Zirnhelt, James (Laura), Michael (Renee) Vitali, Laurie (Dee), Denny (Nicole), Dustin (Tiffany), Brian (Nicole), Joe (Karen); great-grandchildren Jacob, Nicholas, Alexander, Michael, Camille, Maggie, Joe, Jane, Samantha, Olivia, Tabitha, Tyler, Maclain, Quinn, Samantha, Joshua, Isabella Rose, Audrey.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday with visitation at 10 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley, St. Paul Park. Interment church cemetery.
