Age 85, of Cottage Grove died Sunday morning December 23, 2012.
Carol Jane was born September 25, 1927 in St. Paul, Minnesota the daughter of William & Ethel (Wesenberg) Boerner. She was raised in St. Paul and graduated from Mechanic Arts High School. On February 25, 1945 she was united in marriage with Thomas Griffin in St. Paul Park. Carol enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening, canning, antiqueing, camping, playing skip-bo and spending time with her friends watching the Vikings.
Preceded in death by husband Thomas; parents; brother; grandchildren Tom Lewanovich and Michael; and great-granddaughter Ashley Knops.
