Candace Luchsinger

Candace Luchsinger, age 53 of North Branch, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2015 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral 11:00 am with visitation starting at 9 am until the time of service on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 – 80th St. S, Cottage Grove. Interment will be at Grey Cloud Island Cemetery.

Candace Marie Luchsinger was born November 28, 1961 in St. Paul to John and Patricia Reeves. She grew up in St. Paul and graduated from Harding High School. Candace was employed at Valmont Coating ACT for several years before meeting Thomas Luchsinger. She and Tom were united in marriage on September 25, 1998 in North Branch, Minnesota. They live in North Branch and Candace worked for St. Croix Forge in Forest Lake where she sharpened farrier tools and most recently served as a packager. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and was evident by the variety flowers and colors she designed. Candace also enjoyed fishing, crafts and making stained glass. Above all, she loved spending time with her family including her grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Candace is preceeded by her mother, Patricia Ann Reeves. Survived by her husband Thomas Sr.; son Chad; step-son Thomas Jr.; stepdaughter, Lisa Campbell; 4 grandchildren, Ashton, Kaya, Grace and Jordan; father, John Reeves Sr; brother, John Jr. (Diane) Reeves; sisters, Jenny Woods, Christina Reeves, Angela (Rick) Deckard and Luanne Reeves; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
