Burrell Robert Board was born April 20, 1925 in Altoona, Wisconsin the son of Merton Henry & Emma Rosalia (Duncan) Board. He was raised in Altoona and graduated from Monroe High School in St. Paul in 1942. Bill proudly served in the United States Army Air Force. On July 6, 1947 he was united in marriage with Isabel Ann MacDougall in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. He graduated from Macalester College. Bill enjoyed traveling with his family, hunting, fishing, and playing cards. He spent every weekend at the cabin with his family.
Burrell is the beloved husband of Isabel; loving father of Connie, Stephen (Cathleen), Sandy (Eric) Christensen, Beryl (Susan Reed); grandfather of Tyler, Katie (Sean), Chad, Chet, Sara; great-grandfather of Coby & Alexis; brother-in-law of June; many nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Donald.
