Bonnie Jean was born May 2, 1944 in St. Paul, Minnesota the daughter of Roy & Shirley (Reeves) Buetow. She was raised in St. Paul and was a 1962 graduate of Mechanic Arts High School. Bonnie spent 30 years with the Cottage Grove Junior Bowling Association as coach and secretary.

She will be remembered for her devotion to her family. Bonnie was preceded in death by parents, sisters Peggy, Candy; brother-in-law Pete; sister-in-law Marie. She is the beloved wife for 46 years of James Sr.; loving mother of James Jr. (Melonie) of Cottage Grove, Donald (Beckie) of Hammond, Wisconsin, Theresa (Doug) Dolan of Cottage Grove, Tricia (Nate) Thoele of Cottage Grove; grandmother of J.T., Heather, Jeff Jr., Brandi, Alex; great-grandmother of Faye, Baby James; step-daughter of Vi; sister of Roy (Marie) of Virginia Beach, VA, Jerry (Sue) of St. Paul, Terry (Mary) of St. Paul, Kerry of St. Paul, Karen Monson of St. Paul, Ginger (Al) Dittbrenner of Coon Rapids, Shirley (Harry) Spates of Hinckley, Chris (George) Marthaler of Shoreview, Maryann (Rocky) Rauchwater of St. Paul; grandpuppy MoJo; sisters-in-law Delores (Jerry) Gries of Three Lakes, Wisconsin, Gloria (Art) Eichmann of Illinois; brother-in-law Jim McAleese of White Bear Lake; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins & close fiends. Funeral Service 11 AM Wednesday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park (651-459-2875). Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Tuesday and 10-11 am Wed. at funeral home.
