Beverly Kostohryz

Beverly (nee Aljets) Kostohryz, age 75 of Cottage Grove, died May 13, 2014 at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, Minnesota.

Funeral service will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 18, 2014 at All Saint's Lutheran Church, 8100 Belden Ave., Cottage Grove. Visitation will be 3:00-6:00 pm Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Ave., St. Paul Park, MN and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Newport Cemetery, Newport, MN. Memorials are preferred.

Beverly was born on December 11, 1938 to Jack and Inez (Murphy) Aljets. She was married to Robert Kostohryz at Faith Lutheran Church in St. paul on June 2, 1956. She was a foster care provider for over 45 years and enjoyed investing in the lives of children. Beverly enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family, which she adored. She was a caregiver at heart and generous with her time. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, friend, wife and so much more.

Beverly is survived by her 3 children, Allen (Pamela), Susan Lowe and Thomas (Tammy) all of Cottage Grove; foster children, Eric, Ruth and Tim; 10 grandchildren, Chad, Troy, Nicole, Tara, Kelly, Krista, Tiffany, Scott, Kelsey and Robert; 3 sisters, Shirley (Sonny), Maxine (Glen) and Carol (Bruce); also many in-laws, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert "Pepper" of 44 years; brothers, Bill, Donald, Larry and Ralph; sisters, Betty "Boopy" and Patty and great-granddaughter, Addisyn.
