Beverly Carpenter-Otis

Beverly  May Carpenter-Otis (nee Hajek), age 89, formally from St. Paul Park passed away on July 5, 2019 at Glenview Assisted Living, Shell Lake, Wisconsin.

Beverly retired in Wisconsin (Turtle Lake, Clear Lake, and Cumberland) and spent many winters in Mission, Texas.

She was known for her spunk and how much she loved to go dancing, thrift store shopping and garage sales.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Leo Carpenter; second husband, Vince Otis; parents, Joseph and Florence Hajek; brother, Harry.

Beverly is survived by her children, David (Janice), Terry (Barb Schifsky), Diana (Dan) Saver and Jerome (Debbie); nephew, Jeff Hajek; best friend ever, Shirley Miller; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be at 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10 AM, Thursday, July 11, 2019 at St. Rita’s Church, 8694 80th St S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016.

Thank you to the staff at Glenview Assisted Living special care unit, especially April Richter who made her so happy and was able to be there to help us say good-bye.
