Betty L. Schultz (nee Siedschlag), age 69, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2017 at Augustana Health Care in Hastings, MN.

Preceded in death by parents. Survived by significant other, George Krahn; children, Steve, Dale, and Tina (Steve) Gipson; grandchildren, Lara, Jason, Cody, and Drew; George's children, Terri (Dave) Krawczyk, and Steve (Gina) Krahn; George's grandchildren, Alexa, Kyle, Kelly, and Erica; brothers, Gordy (Sandy), David (Annabelle), Brian (Sherry), George (Linda), and Kevin (Brenda) Siedschlag; sisters, Barb (Larry) Bradbury, Brenda (Tom) Johnson, Pam Peel, and Sandy Dahlke; and many loving extended family and cherished friends.

Betty retired from Social Security after 28 years and also has owned The Boondocks located in Old Cottage Grove for 30 years.

Visitation 4-8 PM, Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016 and continues at 10 AM at the church on Thursday. Funeral Service 11 AM, Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Cottage Grove United Church of Christ, 7008 Lamar Ave. S., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016. Interment at Cottage Grove Cemetery. Luncheon to follow service at VFW, Cottage Grove; all are welcome.
