Betty Ann Kamin (nee: Johnson), of St. Paul passed away peacefully on January 13th, 2024 at the age of 95.
Betty grew up in Wadena, MN helping her dad on the farm. At the age of 17, she traveled to California where she became a USO girl, dancing for the troops that were sent off to war. Two years later, she moved to St. Paul where she met her husband Irv "Sparky." They had 5 children that they raised in the Selby-Dale neighborhood. Her love for dancing followed her the rest of her life. She was always the first one on the dance floor and the last one to leave.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 sisters, daughter- in -law Lynn, great-grandson Louie, and loving husband "Sparky." Survived by sons Gary (Renata), Bruce, Jeffrey (Lynn), Russell (Tammy) and daughter Sandy. As well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be buried next to her husband at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
