Bertha Pike

Bertha "Lucille" Pike, age 95, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Oakdale & Cottage Grove, MN.

Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2016. Lucille was born to parents, Gustav and Ida (nee Carlson) Holmstrom on May 27, 1920 in Hastings, MN. She married Walter Pike on August 30, 1945 in St. Paul, MN. They lived there until 1960, and then moved to Cottage Grove, MN. In 1993, they moved to Oakdale, MN.

Preceded in death by husband, Walter; son, William; granddaughter, Tami K Judge; parents; sisters, Linnea Pajerski, Clarice Valois; and brothers, Kenneth and Paul Holmstrom. She was the beloved mother of Joyce (Tom) Costa, James (Dianne), Janice (Russ) Boyer, Jean Wood, and John (Peggy); 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.

Funeral Service 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10 AM, Saturday, April 9, 2016 at First Calvary Baptist Church, 5495 South Robert Trail, Inver Grove Heights, MN, 55077. Interment to follow at Newport Cemetery, Newport, MN.
