Bernadette Helen was born April 14, 1928 in Aberdeen, South Dakota the daughter of Nicholas & Frances (Wagner) Thiry. On November 27, 1954 she was united in marriage to George Gerald "Bear" Anderson. Bernadette loved being surrounded by her family. She enjoyed going to church and traveling to Mankato and Duluth. Bernadette took pleasure in being outdoors whether it was yardwork, gardening, or playing games.
Preceded in death by husband of 49 years George; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; parents.
Survived by children JoAnn, Gary, Cyndi, David & Paula; grandchildren; great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday February 28 at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 920 Holley, St. Paul Park with Rev. Greg Esty officiating. Interment church cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Wednesday with a 7 PM prayer service at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park and 10-11 AM Thursday at church.
