Becky Swedzinski, age 61 of Cottage Grove died Monday morning, June 12, 2006 after a very courageous battle with ALS.
Rebecca Regina was born August 31, 1944 in Fort Dodge, Iowa the daughter of Kenneth & Mary (Cain) Bockert. She was raised in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1962. On September 14, 1968 she married James P. Swedzinski in Taunton, Minnesota. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 98. Becky enjoyed crafts and reading. She loved traveling and boating.
Beloved wife of Jim; loving mother of Patrick (Tara) of Cottage Grove, Jason (Tammy) of Lake Elmo; grandchildren Joshua, Benjamin, Lila; brothers Dick Bockert of Fort Dodge, Iowa & Dan (MaryLou) Bockert of St. Louis, Missouri; sister Nancy (Jerry) Flesch of Des Moines, Iowa; many nieces & nephews.
