Anthony Tischler

Anthony L. Tischler, age 59 of Zimmerman, formerly of Hastings, passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2016.

Memorial service will be 11 am, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676-80th Street S., Cottage Grove with visitation one hour prior.

Anthony Lawrence Tischler was born May 15, 1956 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Lawrence and Lillian (DelCastillo) Tischler. He graduated from Tartan High School in 1974, and the following year was married to Melanie Skeates. They lived in the Cottage Grove and Hastings areas for several years. Anthony worked for several technology based companies until forming his own consulting firm called 3D Consulting which he operated for several years. He was a "jack of all trades" and holds the patent on two products that he created. Anthony was also able to use his experience to teach technology classes at Anoka-Ramsey Community College.

He enjoyed his corvette and a accumulating a variety of collectables through the years. He also enjoyed golf, traveling, boating on the river and spending time at their cabin. Anthony loved his family and had a special place in his life for kids.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lillian DelCastillo. Anthony is survived by his loving daughter Melissa; former spouse Melanie; brothers Sal (Elvira) Miranda, Wayne Willie and stepfather Harve Willie.
