Anneliese was born in Bad Cannstatt, Germany on April 23, 1930 the daughter of Jakob & Anna Maria (Plieninger) Schmid. On March 22, 1952 she married Einar Benhard Alme in Kornwestheim, Germany. They moved to Cottage Grove in 1958. She will be remembered by her family as a great cook. She loved all holidays, especially Christmas. She also enjoyed birdwatching.
Survived by her husband of 54 years Einar; children Doris (Gary) Geib, Dorothy (Randy) Miller, Allen 'Bud' (Michelle); 6 grandchildren Bucky, Scotty, Amy, Brian, Chris, Tony; 4 great-grandchildren Caterina, Savannah, Aidan, Liam.
Funeral Service 3 PM Wednesday at ALL SAINTS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 8100 Belden Blvd. Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Tuesday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80TH St. S. (651-459-2875) and 2-3 PM Wednesday at church. Memorials to donor's choice. www.kokfuneral.com
