Anna Johnson

Anna Marie Johnson, age 64 of Maplewood, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 22, 2023.

Memorial mass will be 10:30 am, Friday, October 13, 2023, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park with visitation one hour prior. Burial at the church cemetery.

Born and raised in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, Anna was a caring soul who brought joy to those fortunate enough to know her. After graduating from Park High School in 1977, Anna embarked on a career as a clerk at West Publishing, where she dedicated many years of her life.

Anna was known for her unwavering love for animals. She had a special place in her heart for horses, dogs and cats, nurturing a deep connection with these majestic creatures. Her compassion and caring nature extended to all living beings, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.

She is preceded by her parents Kenneth and Deanne Johnson and two brothers, Scott and David. Anna is survived by sisters Cindy Shetka (Dan) and Brenda Johnson (Mario); several nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
