Angie Kunde Oney “Scrubbie Lady” age 88, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 16, 2022.
Preceded in death by husbands, Harold Kunde and Richard Oney; parents, Oscar and Alice Anderson; and six siblings. Survived by sons, David Kunde and Jeffery Sr. (Shelley) Kunde; grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Jeffery Jr., and Marissa; and ex-daughters-in-law, Theresa Dolan and Nancy Kunde; and other loving family and friends.
Angie loved to volunteer and will be remembered for making a wide range of handmade household items, toys, pillows, and handbags that she sold at many local events like Heritage Days. She can be quoted as saying “It gives an old lady something to do.” She was a proud member of the American Legion and Auxiliary Post 98 (St. Paul Park) and VFW Red Barn Post 8752 (Cottage Grove) and All Saints Lutheran Church (Cottage Grove). Angie was an excellent baker, avid Vikings fan, and loved a good party.
Columbarium placement at 11 AM, Sun, Apr 24, 2022 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 8100 Belden Blvd., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016 with celebration of life to follow immediately (location to be determined).
