Andrew “Andy” Lawrence Stickney

Andy, age 64, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2023, from complications of a 30-year fight with early onset Parkinson’s disease. Survived by beloved wife and partner in life, Debra Stickney; son, Benjamin (Rachael) Stickney; siblings, Christopher (Kate), Steve, Barbara, Martin, James (Kathy), and David; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, Stephen and Mary Ann Stickney, and very good friend John Flavin.

Andy may have lived half his life with Parkinson’s disease, but he was much more than that. Andy loved his job at Multi-Arc Scientific Coating enabling him to travel the world and meet new people. He loved bowling, golfing, camping, concerts, all things vintage 60’s and 70’s cars, the MN State Fair, and was a long time Minnesota Vikings fan.

Andy would tell you that life is about making connections with people, and helping others.

Service will be at Kok Funeral Home (7676 80^th Street S. Cottage Grove, MN) on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 6pm with visitation beginning at 5pm.
