Andrew Schneider , age 84 of Cottage Grove died Monday evening February 4, 2013.
Andrew Phillip Schneider was born January 18, 1929 in St. Paul, Minnesota the son of Joseph & Theresa (Steinbruchner) Schneider. He was raised in St. Paul. Andy retired from 3M. He enjoyed dancing. Andy was well taken care of the last five years at Norris Square.
He was preceded in death by his wife Helen; brothers Joseph, Larry (Phyllis), John (Helen).
Andy is survived by children David, Kimberly (David) McPherson, Karen (Tom Mamer); grandchildren Danielle (Jalon) Sortor, Michael McPherson, Jessica; 3 great-grandchildren; twin sister Mary Ann; sisiters Maggie, Lucy (Mel); brother Dick (Judy); many nieces & nephews.
Visitation 5-7 PM Thursday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80TH St. S. Cottage Grove and 9-10 AM Friday at church. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Friday at ST. RITA'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8694 80TH St. S. Cottage Grove. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
