Albert Wright

Albert M. Wright, age 90, of Cottage Grove went to be with the Lord, Jesus on March 29, 2014. He was born October 8, 1923 and raised in New York State. After high school, he served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, after which he married Elaine Creecraft in Meadville, Pennsylvania and had a son, Alan. He and the family then moved to St. Paul, Minnesota; where he would later attend St. Paul Bible College. He and Elaine then had a second son, Rick, and after pastoring in various churches, he retired in 1980. Preceded in death by wife, Elaine. Survived by sons, Alan (Cyndie) and Rick (Betty); and granddaughter, Kristina Bates.

Visitation 4-7 pm, Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove and continues one prior to the service at church. Memorial Service 11 am, Friday, April 4, 2014 at Hope Community Church, 8300 Hyde Ave. S., Cottage Grove. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
